Challenge

Kayak would like to generate sales lead from Instagram content.

Solution

Re-identified target audience and created appealing and useful content for them. Every post has a related link to Kayak website. Added tracking to every hyperlink to evaluate on content direction based on sales-lead.

From the insight generated by link tracking data, we found that the target audience was interested in the New Mexico Balloon Festival related info and products. Therefore, we created a series of posts for this audience, driving 300% higher sales leads for Kayak.

Results

From 69,088 followers in Apr, 2015 to 86,436 followers in Jul, 2015. Sales leads boosted 25% from Instagram content marketing as tracked by the hyperlink in each Instagram post.
